India star Rinku Singh gets engaged to MP Priya Saroj in Lucknow

Indian cricketer Rinku Singh and Samajwadi Party MP Priya Saroj were engaged in a dazzling ceremony at The Centrum, a luxury five-star hotel in Lucknow.

Arriving together in coordinated white and pink attire, Rinku and Priya were greeted with cheers as they stepped into Fulcurn Hall, which had been transformed into a festive haven adorned with floral dcor and vibrant lighting. The venue, capable of hosting over 300 guests, witnessed a blend of cricketing legends and political heavyweights.

The engagement was graced by the presence of former cricketers Praveen Kumar and Piyush Chawla, alongside Uttar Pradesh Ranji team captain Aryan Juyal. Among the political dignitaries in attendance were Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav, MP Dimple Yadav, and Priya Saroj’s close friend and fellow parliamentarian Iqra Hasan. Senior Samajwadi Party leader Professor Ram Gopal Yadav and Congress leader Rajeev Shukla also attended the ceremony.

Rinku Singh, who arrived late in the evening with his family, shared lighthearted moments with younger family members, feeding them cake and exchanging laughs, underscoring the intimate and familial warmth of the celebration.

The event featured a grand 12×16-foot stage and a menu inspired by traditional Lucknowi cuisine, with several dishes handpicked by the couple themselves. To accommodate the guests, 15 rooms were booked at The Centrum, with five rooms specially reserved for Rinku’s closest friends.

Security was tight, with entry permitted only to guests possessing barcoded passes. A team of private security personnel, supplemented by police, maintained a high alert throughout the venue to ensure the safety of all VIP attendees.
